Hello, I am posting this message regarding the future and community of Endless Online. The Endless Online Administrators hardly ever log on, and of course, never update. I believe that something needs to be done to get the administrators to log on more than they do now. Please, do not malign my post, I am asking you, the players on Endless Online, to come up with a strategy to do so. Once again, I am open for any positive ideas.

Wings & new server

As soon as you enter EO you will be on the CLD server, main has turned into a strange ghost server where strage stuff is going on:

Everyone got wings! (and lost arrows and bags if equipped).. also every Endless monster is turned into an unkillable Ancient wraith, also every one got Good force wings, just open your paperdoll and remove them to your inventory, and equip then back.. and done, wings! will they last or its temporal? They give quite good stats but with no monsters around, its impossible to give a good use to them.

you will also receive this message every now and then

"you are playing on the CLD server, please be patience until the new server comes online! use game.endless-online.com or IP 72.232.135.114 to connect to the new server, thank youwww"

So go to to Start> All Programs > Endless online > Setup Endless Online > and change the ip from 72.232.0.178 to 72.232.135.114 to get back to main (new main world server).

Forums on mutation phase

Eo forums have been expenting many changes, crashes and bugs lately due to the new general EO website's layout. Vult-r changed EO's website layout some weeks ago to accommodate bigger banners and give a fresher look to the Homepage, but due to the difficulties of changing the forums as well, they where left with the old template. Now its the turn of the forums, in fact, the most of EO's money revenue (Wich pays the hosting, the game server and Vult's work) is gathered from EO's forum activity adds (Vult-r loves drama), this is why changing the layout of the forums is kinda on the top of Vult's to-do list, more adds, more revenue.

There are some few skelletons free hanging there in the streets... nope, its not a new hack, Its not Halloween either, Vult-r have given to random people this skin known from the test server. Yori, one of the lucky ones who got it changed, also told that Vult-r said it was just temporal.

Good Good News

Yeah this has been a great weekend for the EO community, worst bugs/glitches/exploits have been fixed, and a Admin even took place today Sunday, making some new items now available for the most lucky ones.

Fixes:
- No wwwww Dcing glitch, finally! Global, social and training spots are safe now.
- No more Invisible accounts. A filter was applied on the database changing the exploited out of range haircuts back to normal.
- NO MORE SPEEDING, at least for now, lets hope this last very long.
- No more dupping! things back to "normal" except there still are tons of barus, knobs and gold.

About the Event, there is a new map north from the event area, you can read in the ground "EO LOTTERY". The event was like this: people made lines (a lot of lines) behind a blocking tile, then Vult-r made it swap with a blue tile, and with the "READY, GO" signal, players walked north towards a chest.. its randomly contained nothing (most times), chef hats, chef uniforms and doctor outfits.

Scroll of Nothing

I was worried people started dupplicating Reward Scrolls as well, so if they got to dupe them to arround 3 millions (not hard, I saw a girl with 4 million ancient scrolls), that would be a LVL 100 in overnight scroll autoclicking.

In fact this happened on test, 2 guys named Ariox and Hawt made it to lvl 100+ ultil Vult-r became aware of this and changed all Reward Scrolls into a useless Scrolls of Nothing, and removing their accounts.

Now I wonder if its about of time until they get their hands in unlore pandas and turtles.

ITEM DUPLICATION

Yes this screenshot is real, someone with 4 million scrolls of ancient and a similar amount of scrolls of events, not to say that admin scrolls are about 40k theese days. People is duplicating a lot.
This sums to the list of problems EO is currently having, is really the game dying? Looks like a mayor bug fix and rollback/whipe is needed.

Off topic: PORTAL!

Yesterday I finished playing Portal, one of the 5 games included on Valve's Orange Box along with HalfLife 2 and TeamFortress... Its completely awesome, it blew my expectations completely. I could type so much of how good it is but I would be spoiling the game experience for you, so Im going to be careful, the game starts with you as a test subject.. after figuring out some puzzles you get a gun to make your own portals, in fact you can make just 2 not mattering which one is the entrance and which one the exit, also gravity and physics are great, strange behaviors happen when portals are placed in different plains (ie. the gravity can give you speed when you jump into a portal on the floor, launching you from the exit at a wall.). The game its all about puzzles but dont let that to discourage you, It is more than that ;)

The game antagonist is called GLaDOS, a twisted artificial intelligence computer that guides you at the start of the game but becomes more active in the plot as you advance, promising you a sweet piece of cake when all the test courses are done.

Portal is available to download for the PC by using Steam for just 20 bucks (did I mentioned it was chosen as the best game and the best innovative game of the year 2007?), or for the PC, the PS3 and the Xbox 360 by buying the complete Orange box pack.. tho there are plans for it flying solo for retail this year. No plans for it to be on the Wii so far, but they are aware that is a big miss.

So, what are you waiting, get your copy now PLAY IT!
Oh, and one more thing... The cake is a lie.

EO Art / Element weapons

Ok, I was thinking about the future of EO, and then I thought elemets should be introduced sooner or later to the game experience, but it looks like not all the graphics are done to support it.. crystals suggest there would be at least 7 elements in EO: Air/Wind, Earth, Light/Electricity, Dark, Forest, Water/Ice, Fire.. but there are no Dark arrows or fire swords yet, for example. Im in the mood for doing some little pixel art, Ill be posting on http://www.eo-art.co.nr some of this "missing element items" as fan art, who knows, maybe we can have them in the future. Give it a try ;)

Rettan is back

Yes my little coussing, Ret, got back his account, Vult-r helped him. It looks like he wasnt hacked after all, it was just an old password glitch.. If any of you get this kind trouble here is how to fix it:

- Open the folder where Endless Online is isntalled
- Open the file config folder and then setup.ini
- Look for the line Skipsoftpad=off change it to Skipsoftpad=on
- Start Endless online, type in your password, then change it for something less than 12 characters.

The problem happens because keypad password can type up to 16 characters, and type in passwords up to 12.

The everyday story

So, I was there, helping a friend get a dragon wing or claw, looking for a solitary dragon. Once we found it we started the tought task of killing it. It took us like 4 minutes to lower his health to the half, when suddently, a hyper speeder just came running and in 20 seconds got the kill... this is the well known EO's everyday story, after that I just left wondering, How much more time we need to wait, sitting, crossing our arms, waiting for some justice?

High CPU Usage
